Roadblocks of chaos in Gaza

The terrorists, both regular and in the PLO's alleged police force, continue to swerve out of control in Gaza, first causing injury by firing indiscriminately, then by setting up roadblocks to supposedly protest the previous stupidity (H/T: Jerusalem is the Place to Be):
Dozens of gunmen, including off-duty policemen, blocked two major roads in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, demanding retribution for the killing of a policeman in a drug bust a week ago, the PA Interior Ministry said.

The protesters, who included relatives and former colleagues of the dead officer, demanded that Abbas punish the culprits and restore law and order.

They also demanded the resignation of Interior Minister Nasser Youssef, who is in charge of security.

On Thursday night, gunmen opened fire at the home of Youssef in Ramallah.

Policeman stationed outside the house responded by shooting indiscriminately, seriously injuring two passersby.

Abbas decided on Saturday to dismiss the officer responsible for the incident. Sources in the city said the gunmen belonged to Fatah's armed wing, the Aksa Martyrs Brigades.
Of course, Ehud Olmert would rather concern himself with trying to "evacuate" Jews from Hebron than something more serious like this.

  • I was born in Pennsylvania in 1974, and moved to Israel in 1983. I also enjoyed reading a lot of comics when I was young, the first being Fantastic Four. I maintain a strong belief in the public's right to knowledge and accuracy in facts. I like to think of myself as a conservative-style version of Clark Kent. I do not know if I'll ever be as good as him, but I do my best.
